| Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Android Oreo Update Now Available |
The Cherry Mobile Flare S6 is an entry-level offering, unlike its two brothers who have an octa-core MediaTek processor, it settled for lower-end chipset, that is MT6737, which has 4 CPU cores clocked at 1.3GHz each bundled with ARM Mali-T720 graphics. It may not seem that much, but what ticks inside it is the same silicon chip found inside the phones that are being sold above Php5,000 like Nokia 3, Moto C Plus, Infinix Hot 4, and CloudFone Excite Prime 2. Moreover, it has 2GB of RAM for multitasking, and 16GB of expandable storage. Moving on, it has a 5.2-inch display made of IPS panel and has HD resolution.
In terms of optics, the main camera on its back is equipped with a Sony-made IMX135 shooter that has 13MP resolution and an aperture of f/2.0. Meanwhile, the module mounted in the front has the same amount of pixel and aperture size, but this time around it is an OmniVision OV12830 sensor. Both cameras are accompanied by an LED flash.
The other essential specifications are dual SIM with LTE connectivity, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, and runs on Cherry OS 2.0 based on Android Oreo.
