| Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s Unveils in PH; Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras for Php27,990 |
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is the successor of the Mi Mix 2, and revealed in China last March. Both smartphones have 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, and housed in aluminum frame inside a ceramic body.
On the inside, the 2s is equipped with the most powerful Qualcomm chipset available to date, the Snapdragon 845 with octa core Kryo 385 CPU paired with Adreno 630 GPU, while the Mix 2 uses the older SD 835. Ensuring a smooth performance and handling tasks with ease is a 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, while the storage options are 6GB and 128GB.

Another huge improvement of the Mi Mix 2s over its predecessor is the camera department. It has dual 12MP modules for its main shooter, a Sony IMX363 12MP f/1.8 sensor + another Samsung S5K3M3 12MP f/2.4 sensor, with dual Pixel dual phase-detection autofocus and dual-LED dual-tone flash. In fact, it scored 101 for photography in DxOMark. In addition, it boasts AI features that include AI Portrait Mode for bokeh effect, and Beautify 4.0 for natural-looking enhancements.
It is also equipped with 3,400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging, and also supports Qi wireless charging. Other specs worth mentioning are dual SIM capability, USB type-C port, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and runs on MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo. By the way, it does not have a micro SD card slot for expansion, and no 3.5mm audio jack for wired music listening, but it case you need one, there is USB-C to 3.5mm adapter in the package.
It will be released in the Philippines this coming June for an asking price of Php27,990 for the 64GB variant, and Php29,990 for the 128GB storage.
