The two new mid-rangers seemed to be a preview about the brand’s next flagship smartphones’ camera performance. Of course, its upcoming Galaxy S and Note series will surely boast a more capable camera modules resulting into a better performance, isn’t it?

Luckily, our team got a chance to play around with the Galaxy A9 (2018) to test its offerings. The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) comes with various camera features to deliver great images. These include the new Scene Optimizer, Auto, Live Focus, Beauty, Pro, Slow Motion, AR Emoji, and Hyperlapse. Having four cameras with different functions, the device allows users to choose between a regular mode, ultra-wide shot, and its telephoto lens when capturing photos.

This year’s A9 variant promised to level up your lowlight photos, and in overall, it didn’t disappoint us. The device produced sharp images with great details and colors. However, when shooting in lowlight, images turned slightly grainy – as noises became visible, too. We also found its wide and telephoto lens hard to focus on subjects. It’s tolerable though.

What can you say? Is it a yay or nay?
