| Realme C2 Arrives in the Philippines |
As the name suggests, the Realme C2 is the successor of last year's entry-level king – the Realme C1. And as expected, the device is packed with various upgrades to deliver the mobile needs of consumers on a budget.
The Realme C2 is dressed with a smudge-free, diamond cut back design that allows the handset to look more sophisticated than other smartphones at this price point. It also comes with a trendy 6.1-inch IPS screen with HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution and dewdrop notch. This gives off an impressive 89.35% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, Realme packed it with Helio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with PowerVR GE8320 graphics. Making sure that the device can offer decent performance when multitasking, consumers can get the Realme C2 with up to 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage – which will be enough for those who don’t use their phones intensively.

Moving on to its photography section, the phone features a dual-rear camera setup composed of a 13-megapixel main shooter and 2-megapixel depth sensor with Chroma Boost. It is also equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie snapper that supports AI Beautification to enhance your photos. In addition, its cameras are now capable of producing 80fps/480p slow motion video. Cool for its price, isn’t it?
To power up all of these offerings, the device is juiced with a large 4,000mAh battery.
The new entry-level king is loaded with ColorOS 6.0 skin based on Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Realme C2 is available in 2GB/16GB variant and 3GB/32GB model for Php5,490 and Php6,490, respectively. It will go on sale beginning June 8, 2019 in all Realme stores and kiosks nationwide. Meanwhile, consumers can also score it through Home Credit Easy Plan for 9 months with 0% interest.
