This comparison sheet shows that the two handsets almost offer the same key specs. However, the Realme C2 comes with slightly improved features.
Let’s talk first about its design. If you want to standout among the rest, then, you better choose the C2 as it flashes a stylish physique. Meanwhile, the 8S is dressed with a simpler body that gives off a more sophisticated appearance.
Realme C2 |
Moving on, the Realme C2 delivers a larger 6.1-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ 1560 x 720 resolution, and it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, too. Nevertheless, Honor is not too far away, as it sports a 5.71-inch IPS LCD panel with the same HD+ 720p resolution. Both devices are also mounted with a dewdrop notch.
Under the hood, the Honor 8S is powered by Helio A22 quad-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, paired with PowerVR GE6320 graphics. On the other hand, the Realme C2 is equipped with Helio P22 octa-core chipset coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The tricky part here is seen on its RAM/storage configuration, as the C2 can offer up to 3GB RAM while the 8S allows users to expand their storage up to 512GB. But for us, we rather choose to have a larger RAM for a smoother mobile experience.

Honor 8S |
Both devices are banked with good photography capabilities, as well. The 8S sports a 13-megapixel f/1.8 main shooter, suggesting that it can produce decent images. But this isn’t enough to battle out its rival, as the C2 features a dual rear camera setup composed of a 13-megapixel f/2.2 main lens and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies, both smartphones are geared with a 5-megapixel snapper.
Moreover, the Realme C2 is juiced with a larger 4,000mAh battery capacity compared to its rival’s 3,020mAh stamina.
For the initial price of Php5,490, Honor 8S offers a better 2GB/32GB configuration, while the Realme C2 starts with just 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. But to be wise, consumers only have to add Php1,000 to score the C2’s 3GB/32GB model.
