| Qualcomm Launches Snapdragon 855 Plus for Faster Gaming Experience |
The Snapdragon 855 Plus is equipped with an overclocked CPU and GPU, allowing it to deliver a faster performance than the regular Snapdragon 855, which was already a beast in terms of speed.
The new chipset also sports 15% faster graphics rendering and an uplift in CPU performance compared with its predecessor.
The Snapdragon 855 Plus features 64-bit 7nm Kryo 485 CPU clocked at 2.96GHz. It also comes with 3x the power of the regular Snapdragon 845. Packed with sophisticated capabilities and ultra-responsive intelligence, users can enjoy faster, smoother game play.

Equipped with Snapdragon X50 modem, the chip can support 5G connectivity, which will make it a powerful chip for handling AR and VR games.
The Snapdragon 855 Plus will be available in the second half of 2019.
