Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 Brings Dual-Cam Support to Entry-Level Phones |
The Snapdragon 215 features four ARM Cortex-A53 cores paired with Adreno 308 GPU. With this, it can deliver up to 50% faster CPU performance than its predecessors.
Through the new chipset, Qualcomm gives off a true dual-cam support to budget phones with its dual ISPs. It can support up to 13-megapixel photos and up to 1080p video, too. Users can also expect that it will capture images with improved depth and richer details.
Qualcomm also explained that the new Snapdragon 215 can support up to 5 days of music playback and up to 10 hours of video playback. Moreover, it is equipped with Quick Charge solution that can offer up to 75% faster-charging speed.
The Snapdragon 215 is the first 2-series chip that can support HD+ display, as well.

It also supports WiFi 802.11ac connectivity, 4G LTE Cat 4, Dual VoLTE, EVS voice calls, and NFC Payments.
The Snapdragon 215 is expected to be commercially available in the second half of 2019.
