League of Legends Taps OPPO as First Global Smartphone Partner for Esports Events |
In case you missed it, LoL is set to hold The World Championship, the Mid-Season Invitational, and the All-Star event. With this, the company revealed that its partnership with OPPO will start in 2019, with World’s schedules to begin on October 2 in Berlin and conclude on November 10 in Paris. The multi-year deal will last until 2024.
Through this partnership, OPPO will bring fans closer to the biggest Esport events of the year, as it prepares unique activations such as: MVP Presented by OPPO, OPPO Cam, and Welcome to the Rift.
The Chinese mobile maker will also launch a series of consumer promotions that will give fans a chance to win a trip with behind-the-scenes access to the World Championship, All-Star Event, or Mid-Season Invitational.

LoL has joined OPPO’s roster of premier sport partners, which include Wimbledon, FC Barcelona, and the International Cricket Council. Meanwhile, this partnership puts OPPO at the center of the Esports market, as they become a member of LoL’s best-in-class partners like Mastercard, State Farm, Alienware, Secretlab, and Louis Vuitton.
