However, recent updates suggest a change in this scenario. As of the time of penning this article, it appears that the GoSURF 50 is no longer accessible via several platforms. Specifically, it is currently unavailable on the GlobeOne app, the GCash app, and even when using the USSD *143# code.
This development may come as a surprise to many who have come to rely on the GoSURF50 prepaid promo for their connectivity needs. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as they become available. For now, we highly suggest that you subscribe to Globe Go50 or other GO and GO+ promos. Globe GoSURF50 with 6GB of Data and Unli All Net Texts for 3 Days; Still for Only 50 Pesos
As part of Globe Telecom's initiative to help Filipinos stay connected with their loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic, they gave additional data for Globe Prepaid subscribers who register to Globe GoSURF50. Now that the restrictions are fewer, we are happy to report that GoSurf50 still has free additional data.
Globe is still giving away an additional 1GB of open access data for those prepaid subscribers who will register to the Globe GoSURF50. This brings the total data inclusion of GoSURF50 to 6GB. That is 2GB (1GB + 1GB) of open access data, 3GB (1GB of data daily for 3 days) for GoWATCH&PLAY, GoSHARE&SHOP, GoLEARN&WORK, or GoLISTEN&TRAVEL, and 1GB of data for GoWiFi access.
The 1GB data daily can be used for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Lazada, Shopee, and Zalora if you avail of the GoSHARE and GoSHOP. Moreover, consumers can also opt to choose GoWATCH and GoPLAY, wherein the free data can be used for YouTube, Netflix, NBA, VLive, Viu, ONE, iflix, HBO GO, Marvel Super War, Mobile Legends, Arena of Valor, Rules of Survival, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Free Fire, Call of Duty Mobile, and PUBG Mobile. In addition, those who opt for GoLISTEN and GoTRAVEL can use the free data for YouTube Music, Spotify, WeSing, Grab, Google Maps, and Waze. Or GoLEARN and GoWORK, wherein the free data daily can be used for YouTube Learning, Zoom, Viber, Wikipedia, and WhatsApp.
The data consumed to access the above-mentioned apps, games, and sites will be deducted from the free 1GB of data while browsing the web and performing other things will count towards the regular MBs of your GoSURF 50 subscriptions.
To be honest, this is a great promo, and we are actually using the Globe GoSURF 50, as consumers will have more data to enjoy what they love to do.
