Realme has announced that it will be one of the first smartphone brands to use Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 720G mid-range chipset.

On his official Twitter account, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth shared a photo, suggesting that the young mobile brand is set to introduce its mid-range phone powered by the Snapdragon 720G chip. He also said that more information will be announced soon.

Realme didn’t reveal much info about the upcoming device, but its teaser photo hinted that it will sport a dual punch-hole camera.

In case you missed it, Qualcomm recently unveiled its three new chipsets, including the Snapdragon 720G, Snapdragon 662, and Snapdragon 460.

As a quick recap, the Snapdragon 720G is a gaming chipset that upgrades mobile gaming through HDR gameplay, dynamic color range and contrast. It has aptX Adaptive technology, too, allowing the device to offer immersive sound. And to give off an impressive gaming content, Qualcomm equipped it with Spectra 350L ISP.

In terms of its photography department, it can deliver up to 192MP images, which will be processed by the brand’s 5th Gen AI Engine.
