Just like the non-pro variant, the OPPO Reno3 Pro that will be released in the local market will only have 4G LTE mobile connectivity. Yes, that's right, no 5G for the Reno3 series in the Philippines, at least for now.

The Reno3 Pro comes with a more premium-looking design, making it a total head-turner. Unlike the regular variant, it has a hole-punch display, hence, the phone becomes more stunning!

It sports similar, if not the same 6.4-inch AMOLED screen as the OPPO Reno3 with an FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Inside, it is loaded with a slightly powerful MediaTek Helio P95 chip with 2.2GHz octa-core processor and PowerVR GM9446 GPU, and paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.

The phone is banking on a great photography section, as it boasts 64MP f/1.8 main camera + 13MP f/2.4 telephoto lens + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens + 2MP f/2.4 mono quad-rear camera setup. For selfies, it 44MP f/2.4 + 2MP f/2.4 shooters.

Just like its brother, it is also equipped 4,025mAh battery that supports VOOC 4.0 fast-charging and runs on ColorOS 7.0 based on Android 10 OS.

How much is the Reno 3?

  • The OPPO Reno2 was priced at Php28,990 when it was launched in the Philippines last 2019, and its SRP is now reduced to Php25,990. Meanwhile, the Reno3 Pro is priced at Rs. 29,990 in India, however, that is for the 8GB/128GB model while the one expected to arrive locally is 8GB/256GB variant. That said, we can expect its SRP to be somewhere around 30k pesos, more or less.

When will be the Reno3 be available?

  • An invitation was sent to media for the Reno3 series local launch through a live stream event this coming March 19, which basically means its release will be a few days after that. However, due to COVID-19 and the current community quarantine happening around the metro, we believed that the Reno3 availability will be moved at a later date.
