Based on Huawei naming scheme, the "i" on its product name simply means it sits at least one step below the Huawei FreeBuds 3. Nonetheless, it is still very much capable true wireless system earbuds. It boasts a 10mm dynamic drivers with powerful bass that is carefully tuned to deliver balanced audio. It is also equipped with 3 microphones, 1 on the inside and 2 on the outside, which is why Huawei dubbed it as the ultimate noise cancellation earbuds.
Of course, it still has excellent features similar to its siblings, such as touch control support to toggle music playback, calls, and ANC, automatic pairing with Huawei smartphone running on EMUI10 and above, IPX4 water-resistant, and up to 18 hours (3.5 hours earbuds + 14.5 hours case) of total music playback.
It will be available in two colors, namely Carbon Black and Ceramic White.
