The Xiaomi Redmi 9C sits between the Redmi 9A and the Redmi 9, but it is mostly related or associated with the former than the latter. Both the 9C and the 9A have the same 6.53-inch notch-display with HD+ resolution made from an IPS LCD panel. But it is not just the screen. They also have identical physical measurements and weighs the same too. Both measure 164.99mm x 77mm x 9mm and weigh 196 grams. Additionally, both devices have a MicroUSB port and a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W fast charging capability.

So, what are the differences? Since the Xiaomi Redmi 9C is positioned higher than the 9A, it comes with slightly better internals. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It now also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which its brother lacks. Moreover, the photography department is much improved. It now has a triple rear camera setup composed of a 13MP main module, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor instead of just one in the Redmi 9A.
