Both the Epson EB-U50 and the Epson EB-W50 also come equipped with a newly-designed electrostatic air filter that does the job of filtering and trapping dust and chalk particles, preventing in entering the projector for better durability and resistance.

Epson also made sure to include convenient installation as one of EB-U50 and EB-W50 plus points as these come with a new optional mount with a ball joint design, so shop owners can install them directly onto the ceiling or on a tabletop. When installed on ceilings, the EB-U50 and the EB-W50 is capable of projecting at angles of 360 degrees horizontally and 30 degrees vertically.
For easier controls, the EB-U50 and the EB-W50 projectors can be modified using the remote ID function, which allows businesses to seamlessly control 16 projectors where they can schedule and edit playlists, as well as convert movie formats via the Epson Content Manager software.
