The realme 7 is more closely related in terms of spec with its predecessor, the realme 6, than its more premium realme 7 Pro sibling. It sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, which is similar, if not the same, as the realme 6.
Under the hood, it is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G95 gaming chipset with a 2.05GHz octa-core CPU and ARM Mali-G57MC4 graphics. Technically speaking, the G95 is basically the same as the Helio G90T found inside its predecessor. The only difference, which is also the lone advantage of G95 over the older G90T is the slightly overclocked GPU - 900MHz versus 800MHz; the rest is the same.

Aside from the slightly faster GPU, another advantage of the new realme 7 over the older realme 6 is, the larger battery size, 5,000mAh over the 4,300mAh, albeit both devices support 30W fast-charging capability.
Camera-wise, the realme 7 and realme 6 have the same set-up, at least on paper. That's four modules at the back composed of 64MP f/1.8 primary, 8MP f/2.4 119-degree ultrawide, 2MP f/2.4 macro and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, and a single 16MP front snapper.
The rest of the specs are the same - dual SIM with LTE connectivity, WiFi 802.11AC, USB Type-C port, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
