PHYSICAL and DISPLAY:
The realme C25s comes clad in a polycarbonate body that's light in the hands. There's a prominent realme branding on its rear part with a two-tone matte finish. Since the realme C25s veered away from a glossy back with its textured rear cover, you don't need to worry about it being a fingerprint and smudge magnet. It also allows an easy grip, especially with single-hand use. The triple camera module and circular fingerprint sensor of the realme C25s are located at the back.
Water Gray Colorway |
The realme C25s flaunts a 6.5-inch screen in HD+ (1600 x 720 resolution) with a 60Hz refresh rate for its display. Unfortunately, the bezels surrounding the display of this smartphone are also not that thin, especially on the chin, so a full-screen viewing experience is not something you can have with the realme C25s. There's also a dated waterdrop notch on the upper part of the screen. We get it that the realme C25s is a budget device, so you can't expect some high-end features you can find in other smartphones, but there are other entry-level mobile phones in the market that at least have the punch-hole front camera that's preferable.
6.5-inch HD+ Display |
The realme C25s provides what you can expect from a smartphone with a 720p display. While its screen isn't precisely that stunning, its color reproduction and sharpness are enough to enjoy gaming and binge-watching.
Retail Package |
On the right side of the device is where you'll find its power button and volume rockers, while on the opposite cheek lies the SIM card tray that can house two nano-SIM cards and a microSD card for storage expansion. The 3.5 mm headphone jack, primary microphone, and loudspeaker are found at the bottom part of the smartphone, alongside its USB Type-C port which is a plus factor for entry-level devices like the realme C25s.
What's unique about the realme C25s in terms of the physique is that it comes with a TÃœV Rheinland Smartphone High-Reliability Certification, meaning you can count on this smartphone when it comes to durability.

SOFTWARE and PERFORMANCE:
The internals department lies the difference between the realme C25 and the realme C25s. The former comes with the MediaTek Helio G85, while the latter runs on a more powerful MediaTek Helio G70. This makes the realme C25s the better choice, at least in terms of GPU, since it comes with a 1000 MHz GPU turbo speed that helps provide a decent gaming experience.
This processor designed for entry-level gaming on the realme C25s is complemented with 4GB of RAM and a choice of either 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage.
Testing out its capabilities, we played a couple of mobile games on the realme C25s and found out that it can handle Call of Duty Mobile, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, and League of Legends Wild Rift at mid-settings without any lags at all. Using the device with high gaming parameters, meanwhile, brought a few stutters.
Outside gaming, the realme C25s is a capable device. Multitasking is a breeze with this smartphone, and we never experienced any apps crashing on us.

CAMERA:
For its rear cameras, the realme C25s carries a 48-megapixel wide shooter, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and another 2-megapixel for depth sensing.
48MP Triple Rear Camera |
As expected from a budget smartphone, the realme C25s didn't have any problems taking photos during the daytime and under well-lit environments. Photos appeared decent, albeit somehow lacking in color saturation, but overall, the images taken using the realme C25s are the kind that you can post on social media as is.

Night photography on the realme C25s isn't advisable as the photos it produced appeared cloudy, even with the Night Mode shooting activated. For indoor photography, meanwhile, the realme C25s takes mediocre photos provided that there's enough light in a room to capture the details of the subject.

Selfies taken using the 8-megapixel front camera of the realme C25s look natural, with just the right amount of detail clarity and subdued bokeh effect.

BATTERY:
With a 6,000mAh battery, the realme C25s can last up to a day and a half of moderate to heavy usage. This can even be longer with the device's Super Power Saving Mode, which realme claims allows the smartphone to carry out up to 6 hours of Spotify music streaming even with just a 5% battery.
Charging the device usually takes an hour and a half with the realme C25s, which comes with 18W fast charging support.
FINAL WORDS:

By and large, the realme C25s is a strong contender in the budget smartphone segment. So it's good that the evolving technology now brings smartphones with a decent set of specs and features like the realme C25s available for consumers at a low price.
