The ZTE Blade V40S upholds the ZTE Blade series' tradition of excellent image quality. The primary camera has a wide f/1.8 aperture and 50MP resolution for low-light photography. The macro camera has a 5MP resolution and a 2.4 aperture, while the bokeh depth camera has a 2MP resolution. It also has an anti-shake feature that allows you to take great pictures even in low light.

The Blade V40s is equipped with a 6.67-inch Full High-Definition AMOLED display, and it is the only one in the current series to have a full-view screen or no notch on display. Under the hood, it runs on a Unisoc UMS512T chip with 2GHz octa-core processors and Mali-G52 GPU. It is then paired with a large 6GB of RAM and massive 128GB expandable storage. Morever, it comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging.
Other notable specs are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and NFC.
