The PICK.A.ROO Kiddie Shopper Summer Program, which will premiere in May at a few Landmark Supermarkets, allows children ages 4 to 8 to play the role of a PICK.A.ROO Shopper for the day, picking orders from other PICK.A.ROO users and checking them out under the supervision and guidance of an on-duty PICK.A.ROO Customer. Children who sign up for the session will receive a Shopper Kit containing a shirt, apron, cap, and a bag to use throughout the activity.
"Traditionally, parents enroll their children in summer specialized schools and activities to help them learn new skills, refine their abilities, and learn valuable life lessons." Through our Kiddie Shopper Summer Program, we provide parents the opportunity to equip their children with "summer on-the-job training" by having them work as PICK.A.ROO shoppers. "We want kids to have fun while also appreciating the hard work our shoppers put into their jobs," says Eric Bataga, CEO of PICK.A.ROO, "and perhaps even learn the values of hard work, teamwork, discipline, responsibility, and friendship."

Parents who want to sign their children up for the Kiddie Shopper Summer Program can find the sign-up links in emails and social media posts from PICK.A.ROO's official pages. There is no registration fee; parents and guardians just only place an order through PICK.A.ROO on the day that works best for their child's schedule. On May 6, 13, and 20, 2023, the Kiddie Shopper Summer Program will be held in Landmark Bonifacio Global City, Trinoma, and Alabang. Each group of about five youngsters has a one-hour session, with the first starting at 9:00 a.m.
PICK.A.ROO will accept registrations until May 6.
Several taps for convenient, app-based shopping
PICK.A.ROO's Pick-Up feature will make its official debut this summer. Users can use this service to place orders from the stores, markets, and restaurants listed on PICK.A.ROO, pay using a credit card, and pick up their orders at a predetermined time.
Nowadays, more and more people are venturing outside, whether for work, school, errands, or other leisure activities. By offering the Pick-Up service, we are giving PICK.A.ROO users more alternatives for how they wish to receive their products, explains Bataga.
For parents who are out with their children on weekends, for example, the tool allows them to easily purchase groceries and pick them up on the way home, allowing them to spend more time with their loved ones. Office workers can use this option to purchase meals, which they can pick up during their lunch break.
The Pick-Up function is one of several new features offered to app users. Last year, PICK.A.ROO introduced its patented Mall-in-One function, which allows customers to place orders from many merchants in one mall while paying for everything in one transaction. It's exactly like going to the mall, except without the traffic, useless detours, and impulse purchases.
