ZTE Celebrates Second China-Philippines Friendship Open Day; Opens New Office in the Philippines
ZTE, a global leader in information and communication technology solutions, recently celebrated the second China-Philippines Friendship Open Day, which was held at the company's brand-new office in the Philippines. The event highlighted the two countries' friendly collaboration as well as the contribution of Chinese firms to the Philippines' economic, technological, and livelihood developments.

Mr. Yang Guoliang, Minister Counselor, Chinese Embassy, Mr. Ji Lingpeng, Counselor, Chinese Embassy, and Hon. Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo, Undersecretary, Department of Information and Communications Technology, were among the distinguished guests who attended the event. The ZTE Philippines management team was also present, including Mr. Jin Zhichao, CTO of ZTE Philippines.
The China-Philippines Friendship Open Day featured Chinese cultural events such as a Kung Fu dance and zongzi making, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in traditional Chinese art and cuisine. ZTE's key business milestones in the Philippines were also highlighted at the event.

The reaffirmation of ZTE's commitment to the Philippines through its S.T.A.R. (Skills, Talent, Attitude, Responsibility) Internship Program was an important aspect of the event. Three deserving students from the University of Sto. Tomas was given internships, demonstrating ZTE's commitment to developing local talent. Furthermore, DITO showed its commitment by donating 5G CPE Equipment to the University of Sto. Tomas.

Mr. Jin praised the Filipino people for their unwavering support and faith in ZTE, reiterating ZTE's commitment to positively impacting the Philippines.
