Converge works hard to keep a balance between scientific progress and long-term sustainability in a time when digital technology is changing the world economy and society. The company is still fully committed to meeting widely recognized development goals while minimizing the bad effects that could come from fast technological progress.

The sustainable plan for Converge is in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 9 of the United Nations, which focuses on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. The company's pure fiber network has grown across the country. By March 2024, it's expected to reach 16 million homes, which is 60% of all houses.
Converge Empowers Local Communities with Prepaid Fiber
Converge released two new products in 2023 called Surf2Sawa and BIDA Fiber. These products were made to make fiber internet more cheap and easy to get. This is in line with SDG No. 1, which is to end all forms of poverty.
Since the pandemic changed the world so that digital education is now the norm, Converge's fiber broadband bandwidth helps more people get a good education (SDG 4). The business also supports fair and long-lasting growth and good jobs by making it easier for people to find jobs and business tools.
Converge is committed to making its network processes use less energy. Power Usage Effectiveness dropped from 1.8 in 2021 to 1.53 in March 2024 in the company's Pasig data center and from 1.8 in 2021 to 1.6 in Pampanga. This shows great progress in energy efficiency.
Converge also wants its employees and the public to be a part of its efforts to be more environmentally friendly, like the Zero Waste program. The goal of this project is to have no more trash going to landfills by 2030. Its main focus is on recycling equipment from customer premises, but workers can also donate their old electronics.
