Sky Cable Corporation and Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions, Inc. have joined forces to make Sky's internet service better. Through this agreement, Converge's pure fiber network will be used to give Sky Fiber customers a better internet experience.

By working with Converge, a top-tier fiber broadband provider in the Philippines, Sky Cable will be able to completely redesign its network, which will mean better services for its users.

Converge's advanced fiber network was praised by Sky Chairman Mark Lopez, who said, "Converge's top-tier, cutting-edge fiber network will soon be at the fingertips of Sky customers nationwide."

The President and Chief Operating Officer of Sky, Claudia Suarez, sees this project as a key part of the company's plan to improve its services. Suarez added, "We are optimistic that this partnership with Converge will greatly benefit both Sky and its subscribers, thanks to Converge's world-class fiber network."

Maria Grace Uy, President and Co-Founder of Converge, sees this partnership as a way to improve their network and get more people to use their ports. Uy said, "This partnership will significantly increase Converge's revenue as we continue to monetize our excess network capacity."

Converge connects 16 million homes across the Philippines with the largest fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network in the country. As of March 2024, 2.3 million homes across the country had signed up for internet service through Converge.
