Constructed on the Cell-to-Chassis framework, the Shark 6 DMO integrates the proprietary Blade Battery as a crucial part of the vehicle’s ladder frame and safety structure, enhancing the Shark 6 DMO’s rigidity and safety.

Its bold, robust stance is accentuated by a commanding front grille that displays the BYD mega symbol, LED headlights, and connected daytime running lights. Sleek, clean lines enhance aesthetics and performance, giving the Shark 6 a formidable and commanding presence. The two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, standard for both versions, enhance its modern styling by providing traction and emphasizing its off-road readiness.
Designed for both rough terrain and cityscapes, this electrified “lifestyle” pickup boasts an impressive 230 mm ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, empowering it to traverse challenging landscapes with ease, from uneven off-road paths to flooded streets. This functionality, coupled with robust materials, marks it as a versatile vehicle, ready for any journey.
With a payload capacity of 835 kg and a towing capacity of 2,500 kg, the BYD Shark 6 DMO is well-equipped for many adventures requiring the transportation of gear and cargo.
For enhanced stability and ride comfort, the Shark 6 DMO is equipped with front and rear double wishbone suspension, a combination rarely found in pickups. This ensures a smoother riding experience on straights or corners, on and off the road.
The Shark 6 DMO also provides three drive modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport – and multi-terrain modes like Sand and Mud, to adapt to various driving conditions and preferences.
Inside the BYD Shark 6 DMO, the cabin combines premium materials with a minimalist design, with leather seats accentuated by striking orange highlights offering a smooth ride. Comfort is prioritized with a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat and 4-way lumbar support in the Premium model, allowing for a customized driving position. Seat heating and ventilation for the two front seats are standard in the Premium trim.
Passenger space efficiency and comfort have been enhanced in the BYD Shark 6 DMO. Rear seatbacks in the backseat are reclined by 27 degrees. Along with the cabin’s expansive knee-room, this seating configuration ensures a more relaxing posture for rear passengers over long drives.
At the heart of the modern yet functional interior is a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen display that seamlessly integrates with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Both variants come equipped with an 8-speaker sound system, providing an immersive audio experience that takes advantage of the cabin’s low Noise, Vehicle, and Harshness figures.

The BYD Shark 6 DMO is equipped with a wide range of standard safety features, including Cruise Control, a 360-degree View Camera, Front and Rear Sensors, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent System and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The Premium variant elevates safety further with Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and a Heads-Up Display, ensuring peace of mind for every driver.

Accessible Pricing and Attractive Offers
The BYD Shark 6 DMO starts at a reasonable price of Php 2,098,000 for the Advanced variant and Php 2,298,000 for the Premium variant.
First-time BYD customers who complete their purchase of a BYD Shark 6 DMO by March 31, 2025, will be eligible for a Php 50,000 discount. Existing BYD owners who purchase a BYD Shark 6 DMO until the end of March will receive an additional Php50,000 discount for a total of Php100,000 discount. The same maximum discount of Php 100,000 will also be applied to customers who were referred by existing BYD owners.
It will also be available in three stunning color options: Deep Sea Blue, Cosmos Black, and Aurora White. The Shark 6 DMO also comes with an impressive warranty coverage for customers’ peace of mind - an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the BYD Blade battery, an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty for the drive unit, and a 6-year or 150,000 km warranty for the vehicle.
