Park's distinguished leadership in the realm of cloud and digital infrastructure, backed by over three decades of international experience, offers vital technological insight that will guide Converge through its next expansion stage. His appointment aligns with the company's current transition from merely offering fiber broadband services to providing a more extensive array of technology solutions, such as enterprise cloud, AI-powered services, and digital platforms.

Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy expressed, "As we evolve into a full-scale technology company, our leadership team must reflect the magnitude and intricacy of our objectives. Mr. Park's expertise in spearheading large-scale digital transformations and constructing future-proof infrastructure aligns seamlessly with our aspiration to advance the Philippines' digital economy. His addition to our Board is not just strategic—it's revolutionary."

Park will fill the unexpired term of Atty. Francis Ed. Lim, recently appointed Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. He will also contribute to the Board Risk Oversight Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

A seasoned technology leader, Park steered NAVER Cloud from 2014 to 2022, propelling the company through a phase of swift innovation and growth, expanding its cloud service offerings from 22 to over 200 across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. He was also the brains behind NAVER's sustainable data center strategy, earning the company a Platinum LEED certification. From 2023 to 2025, as CEO of NAVER Cloud APAC, Park broadened the company's reach into 10 international markets and fostered crucial partnerships across Southeast Asia, solidifying NAVER's foothold in the global digital infrastructure arena.

Converge's transition into a techco entails significant investment in digital platforms, data centers, cloud services, and AI-driven solutions. Park's experience in scaling NAVER's cloud business and maneuvering swiftly evolving technology markets will directly influence Converge's strategies in these sectors.

"Converge has evolved beyond a mere connectivity provider. We are shaping the digital infrastructure of the future and require board-level direction from leaders who have already established such foundations on a global scale," Uy further stated.

Park, who currently serves as Executive Advisor to NAVER Cloud, provides strategic counsel as the company continues its expansion across Asia. He is also a Master’s Degree holder in Public Administration from Yonsei University in South Korea.

In the July 8 meeting, the Converge Board also entrusted Arlene San Juan with the role of Company Treasurer, succeeding Christine R. Blabagno, who was named the Chief Risk Officer, concurrently serving as the Deputy Chief Finance Officer.
