We got our hands on Infinix's latest offering ahead of its official launch in the Philippines and here are our first impressions about the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+.
It's insanely thin
We've seen a number of smartphones that are impressively slim, but the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is in a different league. At 155 grams with a 5.9mm body, it's paperweight in the hands. Despite its slim build, it has a solid build and doesn't carry a flimsy feel. That's due to the several durability features found on the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+, including an ArmorGlass front care of a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, a fiberglass back panel, and an aerospace-grade aluminium chassis.

Infinix claims that the HOT 60 Pro+ is the world's slimmest 3D curved AI phone under 6mm, particularly at 5.95mm, an amazing feat for a budget smartphone. For visual comparison, it's thinner than three peso coins stacked together. Take note also that it has a curved body, another feature that's uncommon among budget devices.
It has a beyond-budget display
Budget-conscious tech consumers can enjoy an AMOLED screen without a pricey tag on the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+. Upon powering up the device out of the box, the 6.78-inch 1.5K screen of the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ flaunted a sharp and bright screen, the kind that will surely make multimedia consumption an enjoyable experience.

It has a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz which work together for fluid, responsive scrolling. Plus, its peak brightness is at 4,500 nits, enough to keep the device's display comfortably visible even when used outdoors on a sunny day.

The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ comes surrounded with same-sized bezels, making its edge-to-edge screen appear more seamless.

Found on the top left of the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+' screen is a front-facing flashlight for selfies. Plus, there's also an in-display fingerprint scanner which quickly unlocks the device even with a slight tap.
It's multimedia-centric
Partnered with its stunning AMOLED 1.5K screen are dual JBL-tuned stereo speakers found on the top and bottom edges of the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ – another rare find in the budget smartphone segment. Additionally, the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ supports 24-bit/192 kHz Hi‑Res audio playback.

The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ has a special button programmed to summon the device's Folax AI assistant powered by DeepSeek-R1.

Each purchase of the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ comes with a free 12-month subscription to Viu Premium.
