What to Expect with BYD Sealion 7
If we assume that it has similar specs to BYD Europe, we can expect to see the following:
- Price: As a competitively priced alternative to the Tesla Model Y and Toyota bZ4X, it is estimated to start between Php2.4 to Php2.6 million.
- Performance & Battery: The PH-spec model is expected to have up to 91.3 kWh LFP Blade Battery supporting up to 230 kW DC charging, featuring 390 kW power and 690 Nm of torque, up to 215 km/h top speed, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
- Design & Features: Measuring 4,830 mm in length, the SUV features a sleek design, 20-inch wheels, frequency-selective dampers, and a 15.6-inch rotating screen with a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system.
- Dimensions: It offers a larger space than the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i, both on interior and trunk space. It jas 58 liters of space in the front plus 520 liters in the rear, which can be further expandable to 1,789 liters with the rear seats folded.
- Availability: Pre-orders with a Php50,000 reservation are now accepted at MIAS and all BYD dealerships nationwide.
The BYD Sealion 7 is set for an official launch later this year, spearheading BYD’s commitment to a connected and electrified Philippines.
