Kata i2 Package
Like the Kata Fish Tab 3 that we reviewed, the Kata i2 comes with a screen protector and a flip case, though it is not technically free.
Kata i2 Unboxed
The box is a two-part hard carton, one part goes inside the other, the smaller one holds the unit and underneath it are the accessories.
The front and back of the Kata i2 has a factory screen protector installed, sadly the front there is a big logo and there is no way you will use your unit with it.
Once you take out the unit you can find the a booklet which is a warranty guide and shows the phone's basic functions.
The USB cable is black in color although the unit I had is white, the cable looks and feels sturdy.
The Kata i2 charger has a detachable cable and it is rated with 1A output.
The wired headset matches the color of my unit, it looks nice and feels solid.
The battery is a Li-Ion and has a capacity of 2200mAh, the front has a big Kata logo.
The flip case looks and feels premium, the front is like a plastic-rubber type while the back is like a suede finish.
Flip case (inner)
The case is a clip on type, when you place the device it locks in its four corners made of a hard plastic which gives added protection on accidental bumps.
The screen protector is a clear type, it comes with a micro-fiber cloth and a hard cardboard. I suggest that you ask the salesperson to install it for you especially if you have less experience doing it.
