Lenovo Mobile Unveils New A-Series Smartphones in the Philippines

Lenovo Mobile Philippines recently announced on their Facebook page the latest additions to their A-Series smartphones, three to be exact, namely Lenovo A1000, Lenovo A2010 and Lenovo A6010.

Let us start with the Lenovo A1000, it is an entry level offering with an asking price of just Php2,999. With that amount, users get 4-inch display sporting WVGA resolution powered by 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC7731 quad core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It also has a 5MP main camera with an LED flash, 2050mAh removable battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Next is the Lenovo A2010, a 4.5-inch Android Lollipop device powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6735M quad core processor bundled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. Priced at Php4,999, one of the main selling points of this phone is its LTE connectivity. Other major specs include 2000mAh removable battery, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera for taking selfies.

Meanwhile, the Lenovo A6010 is basically an A6000 Plus, as of this writing, I really do not know the exact difference between the two, except for their SRP, the newer model retails for Php7,999 while the latter can be purchased at Lazada for Php6,999. In fact, all information I gathered point that they are identical - 5-inch HD display, 64-bit quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, 8MP main camera, 2300mAh Li-Po battery, Dolby technology and even their physical dimensions and weight.
