| CloudFone Announces NBA Edition Smartphone |
CloudFone, one of the few local mobile brands that managed to stay relevant, recently announced its new forged partnership with the world's most popular basketball association that pave way to the creation of NBA edition smartphone, the first not only in the Philippines, but also in Southeast Asia.
CloudFone is not new to this kind of partnership, as they also have Disney-themed devices and accessories. As of this writing, only one SKU is known to exist in this series. It sports a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution that translates to 267 pixel per inch, IPS panel for better viewing angles, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for added protection. On the inside, it is powered by 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6737 processor, a similar chipset found on Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime. In terms of volatile memory, there is 2GB to handle multitasking, while storing apps and games is handled by the 16GB ROM.

Meanwhile, the camera department is equipped with 13MP main shooter and 5MP secondary snapper. The other known specs are dual SIM with LTE connectivity, a huge 4000mAh battery, fingerprint sensor and runs on version 6 of the Android operating system. By the way, NBA fans of particular team need no to worry because there is an option to remove and replace the back cover with the one from their favorite team.
No mention yet on the price, but it will be available some time in April.
