The Palm Vein Authentication is a reinvented system for biometrics authentication. With PalmSecure, users’ identity is authenticated through their vein pattern on their palm. Since veins are internal and have plenty of differentiating features, attempts to forge an identity are extremely difficult, as the sensor of the palm vein device will only recognize the pattern if de-oxidized hemoglobin is actively flowing within the individual's veins.

Since it has advanced authentication algorithm, the PalmSecure is currently the most accurate biometric authentication system in the market. Initial enrollment to the system can be completed in no more than 10 seconds, and contact-less authentication is also more hygienic and non-invasive, therefore promoting a high-level of user acceptance.

According to Raul “Cricket” Santiago III, CEO and president of Fujitsu Philippines, cyber threats remain a challenge for everyone, especially for enterprises and organizations.

“While technological safeguards can now be implemented, the continued increase in networks, devices, connections, and applications offered by solutions providers makes system’s security even more complex,” said Santiago.
