A decade after making the first large-screen OLED TV, LG is still the leader in the market for high-end TVs. The company's cutting-edge OLED TVs have won the CES Innovation Award for the past 11 years in a row, and they have kept getting better over time to give customers more value. LG OLED is known for its amazing picture quality. It has bright, accurate colors, deep blacks, and a contrast ratio that goes on forever, making images look incredibly real.
LG's self-lit technology has made it possible for the company to make TVs with shapes and designs that have never been seen before. For example, the rollable LG SIGNATURE OLED R and the bendable LG OLED Flex are both market firsts. LG OLED Flex won Best of Innovation in the Gaming category at the CES 2023 Innovation Award. It was also given two awards.
The newest Z3, G3, and C3 OLED evo series TVs are at the top of LG's OLED line-up for 2023. LG OLED evo technology's precision and performance and the 9 AI Processor Gen6 make these new models brighter and more accurate in terms of color. They also have fantastic clarity and detail.
The latest Alpha series processor uses LG's most advanced AI-assisted Deep Learning technology to ensure excellent picture and sound quality. AI Picture Pro's upscaling has been improved for better clarity, and its dynamic tone mapping has been improved to help each frame show more depth and detail. AI Picture Pro also has a technology for processing pictures that finds and improves essential things, like people's faces, to make them look more like real life in HDR. In addition to fine-tuning image reproduction, the 9 AI Processor Gen6 also powers LG's AI Sound Pro. This feature helps viewers get into the action on screen by delivering virtual 9.1.2 surround sound from the TV's built-in speaker system.
LG's Brightness Booster Max technology is another significant upgrade to this year's OLED evo G3 series. It uses brand-new light control architecture and light-boosting algorithms to increase brightness by up to 70%. The brightness is mapped and controlled pixel by pixel, which makes images look sharper and more real.

LG's 2023 G3 OLED evo models also look better because they have a new ultra-seamless design called "One Wall Design." When mounted on the wall, this year's models leave no gap that can be seen. They bring style and effortless elegance to the living room.
Also, LG keeps using its technological leadership to do more than just make products and services that make life better. 2023 LG OLED TVs are made to be better for the environment from when they are made to when they are thrown away. LG OLED TVs don't have a backlighting unit, so each TV is made with less material than a regular LED TV. Many of their parts are also made from recycled plastics, and they are shipped in eco-packaging made from recyclable materials and printed in only one color. All of LG's 2023 model OLED TVs have been certified to have low blue light by TÜV Rheinland and to not flicker by UL Solutions. This makes them easier on the eyes.
In 2023, LG OLED will also offer a new, more personalized user experience. This year's models come with the latest version of webOS and All New Home, a redesigned user interface (UI) that makes it easier than ever. The new "Quick Cards" make it easy for users to get to the content and services they use most often. They are organized into logical groups like "Home Office," "Games," "Music," and "Sports." LG's more advanced webOS makes it easy for everyone who uses the TV to get personalized recommendations based on their viewing history and habits.
AI Concierge adds to the personalized experience of using an LG OLED TV. It gives each user a curated list of content options based on how they've used the TV in the past and what they've searched for, as well as an index of trending content they can look through.
LG OLED TVs continue to support the image- and sound-enhancing features of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which make them great for home theater experiences. Also, this year's LG TVs work perfectly with the latest LG soundbars, which deliver great multi-channel surround sound with IMAX-enhanced quality powered by DTS:X. LG TVs and soundbars can also be used together to get the WOW Orchestra feature. This takes advantage of the audio channels in both products to make the sound that is stronger and more immersive.
As expected, the LG 2023 OLED models support a wide range of HDMI 2.1a features. They are also the first TVs the HDMI organization approved for the newly announced Quick Media Switching VRR (QMS-VRR). QMS-VRR can eliminate the momentary "black screen" that can happen when switching between devices connected to the TV's HDMI 2.1a compliant ports that play content.
LG's self-lit OLED TVs are the best for gaming because they have a response time of 0.1 milliseconds, low input lag, and up to four HDMI2.1a ports. LG OLED TVs also come with a feature called "Game Optimizer." This lets users quickly choose and switch between gaming-specific features, like presets for different types of games. The Game Optimizer also makes it easy to set up G-SYNC® Compatible, FreeSyncTM Premium, and variable refresh rate (VRR).
LG's state-of-the-art 2023 OLED TVs will be displayed at the company's booth (#15501, Central Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center) from January 5 to 8 during CES 2023. Follow #LGCES2023 on social media to learn about all of LG's exciting announcements at CES.
