DESIGN AND BUILD:
Ditching a curved build and display found on its predecessor, the realme 10 Pro 5G comes in an elegant flat, boxy body with flat metallic sides promoting an easy grip. In a way, it's similar to the design of the iPhone 12. If you're a fan of minimalist smartphones that look straightforward on the get-go, then the realme 10 Pro 5G might appeal to you.

The realme 10 Pro 5G is available in three colors that fit the tastes of different smartphone users. For those who like an unassuming smartphone, go for the Dark Matter variant. If you're the type who likes shiny and sparkly smartphones in candy colors, there's Hyperspace and Nebula Blue for you. While the smartphone comes with a plasticky cover, its matte frosted finish adds a premium touch to its overall look.

For the back part of the realme 10 Pro 5G, realme went for a neat look. There are only two big camera lenses, an LED flash, and the realme branding on the rear – nothing more. On the right side of the smartphone are its volume buttons and power switch which is also a fingerprint scanner, while on the opposite side are its dual-SIM card tray and microSD slot – meaning you can use two SIM cards and expand your storage at the same time.

DISPLAY:
realme could've opted to plant an OLED screen on the realme 10 Pro 5G but for some reason, the brand went for an LCD panel instead. This resulted in a screen quality that gives off not the purest of blacks and the brightest of colors – but it's far from lacking, nevertheless. realme said that the realme 10 Pro 5G brings "the most expansive viewing experience ever in a smartphone" which would have been more true if the smartphone didn't have a thick chin. Since the top and side bezels of the realme 10 Pro 5G are slim, the huge black part at the bottom of the smartphone's display is even more emphasized.

| 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz Display |
A good thing about the 6.72-inch display of the realme 10 Pro 5G is that it has a 120Hz refresh rate that performed well during our daily usage. Scrolling was smooth, and we never experienced any screen stutters.
Overall, the screen of the realme 10 Pro 5G is a delight to the eyes, and it was decent enough for us to enjoy a binge-watching session.
PERFORMANCE:
Solid Android fans would definitely want to get their hands on the realme 10 Pro 5G as the device is one of the first to get Android 13 out of the box. On top of the said Android version, the realme 10 Pro 5G runs on Realme UI 4.0. The downside, though, as with other realme smartphones, is that the realme 10 Pro 5G comes with a lot of bloatware. Some of them can be easily uninstalled, except for the pre-loaded Hot Apps and Hot Games.

With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset under the hood partnered with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the realme 10 Pro 5G does multitasking smoothly and nonchalantly. Even if you switch from multiple apps repeatedly, you won't experience any crashes.
Gaming is also a-okay with this device. Popular games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty Mobile run stutter-less even at the highest game settings.

One of the things that are immediately noticeable about the realme 10 Pro 5G is perhaps its dual-rear camera setup. Most smartphones nowadays come with three or four cameras. But, the two cameras of the realme 10 Pro 5G don't mean it has lesser megapixels. In fact, the photos taken by the realme 10 Pro 5G are impressive.

Daylight camera shooting with the realme 10 Pro 5G is a delightful experience. The photos we took looked very lively with just enough levels of color saturation and detail sharpness.
At night, the realme 10 Pro 5G is no different from other smartphones under the same price segments. Nighttime photos are either a hit or a miss, with details and colors mostly clouded.
The same scenario applied to its selfie camera when we tried it. No problems at all when self-portraits were taken in well-lit environments, but it's a different story for indoor and night selfies.

With 5,000mAh juice, the realme 10 Pro 5G can last a day and a little bit more on moderate use. However, while the realme 9 Pro 5G supports 60W fast charging, the realme 10 Pro 5G's dropped to 33W. This still saves users from waiting too long just to recharge the device back at 100 percent, though, so it's all good.
