Canon Philippines has unveiled the Canon EOS R50, a new APS-C digital camera that is small and lightweight. The entry-level camera is loaded with useful, automatic features that allow users to easily produce high-quality videos and pictures with minimal camera work.

Image Sensor in APS-C Format with 24.2 MP
The 1-inch image sensor in today's smartphones is three times smaller than the APS-C size image sensor in the EOS R50. As a result, images and movies will be sharper, more detailed, and more noise-free, even in low-light conditions. Users can also expect spectacular, authentic-looking bokeh (shallow focus) effects.

The monitor's preset "Movie IS: Enhanced" setting optimizes image stabilization for handheld wide-angle photos in "selfie" mode by removing unwanted motion accentuating itself at the edges of wide-angle images. To avoid excessively close-up shots, simply tap the "Wide-angle" button to toggle between two settings.
