More than 80,000 people are scheduled to attend this year's MWC, which is an important event for bringing together the world's best tech minds. Well-known guests from Dell Technologies, Accenture, and HP Enterprise will talk about current issues like AI, the development of 5G, and the need for sustainability in the telecommunications industry.
Uy will give a talk at the Yangtze Optical Fiber and Cable (YOFC) conference. He is known as "The Fiber Master" for his groundbreaking work bringing fiber technology to the Philippines. His talk is called "All-Optical Connectivity with New Value," and it will cover the Philippines' fiber trip from its early days in the 1990s to where it is now.
